Christmas Lights at Thanksgiving Point

December 7th
For Family Home Evening we went to the lights at Thanksgiving point. This was our first year going, it was pretty cool! It also was the first time it had snowed which made it so much cooler, yup winter is here!

Group shot.....well it seemed like a good idea! ;0)Pics just didn't turn out well.
What was really cool was at the end they had these pictures and the words to the Nativity Song. Which happened to be the song we learned in Primary on Sunday. So of course we had to sing along!

Yeah reindeer!

Boys night out!

December 5th
So this weekend it was the boys night out. Kydan and Paysen got to spend time with their dad out of the house! They sure did have fun! What cute boys!

While the boys were out the girls + Teegan stayed in and watched a movie and made yummy carmel filled chocolate cookies! DELICIOUS!

Ward Party

December 5th
Our ward party was a little different then usual. It was a Polar Express party. It was at 9:00 in the morning and everyone came in the PJ's. The Bishop was dressed up as the ticket taker and punched our tickets. We had hot chocolate and breakfast. At the end Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause came and gave them bells.
They like Santa from a distance. The moment I said to Teegan, "Do you want to see Santa?" He started screaming!

No Teegan this time! They always want to see Santa and so we stand in line and the minute we get to the front, I have to drag them to his lap. What silly children!!!

The countdown has begun!

December 1st
Grandma and Grandpa Kolditz gave the kids the famous chocolate countdown calendars--gotta love those! They were super excited!Shhhhhhhh......don't wake him, more chocolate for me!

Christmas lighting

December 30th
Saratoga Springs had it's first Christmas tree lighting. They had an elementary and the high school sing and Santa was there. The kids were excited to see Santa so we stood in line!

Waiting
and waiting
and waiting
Finally it is our turn!
Ohhhh they should be excited!
Yeah right!.....everyone was afraid of him!!!!! :0) Breathe Teegan! LOL! Waiting to see Santa.....Priceless!

Happy Holidays!

We decided to put the Christmas decorations up the weekend before thanksgiving! I love Christmas and it just seems as if Thanksgiving is part of that holiday! We did have a great Thanksgiving with lots of great food and spending time with family! We have so much to be grateful for. Our house situation is frustrating, it's so hard to have no control over anything! We have offers on 4 houses-- all different styles and neighborhoods, 3 here in Saratoga springs and 1 in Eagle mountain. Which ever house goes through first is the house we feel we are supposed to be in. That's enough to drive you crazy! I do have a favorite and I cross my fingers that we can be blessed with that one. We will see, I'm grateful Jon has a job, we were able to sell our house in Rexburg, and we are all healthy and happy! I'm grateful for wonderful family on both sides who love us. I don't know what I'd do without them! I miss not being so close to my family but cherish the times we get to visit, thank goodness it's not too far! And I'm grateful for the knowledge of the gospel, for my Savior and his example, for the scriptures, and for living prophets. That my sweet, imperfect family can be together forever! So much to be grateful for! I wish everyone a Happy Holiday!
Too Cute!
Nothing fancy, but they did a good job!
Fun throughout the house!

So Kydan and Ceanna posed in their pictures, I don't know if you can see but Paysen is playing the wii instead of posing! Oh Paysen you do love the wii!
Santa was at Walmart Wahoo!
Watching movies over the break
My super saturday crafts!
I made a temple block for each of the kids, they were super easy and turned out cute. Love super saturdays!

Toby's sweaters

So our poor dog Toby gets to wear sweaters in the fall and winter because we are cruel! :0)
Here is his latest coat!

This was his fall sweater! poor guy!
He did have a skull sweater for halloween unfortunately the kids didn't take any pics of him in it. Paysen took this pic.
